<p>Created by: gdm.</p> <p>User 'mara' did: promote at Sun Sep 06 14:28:49 +0000 2009.</p> true true <p>The fifth <a href="http://rts.gn.apc.org">Reclaim The Future</a> party was held on Saturday, 5th September 2009 in a squatted former car showroom on Mile End Road in East London, right near where the <a href="http://www.anarchistbookfair.org/">Anarchist Bookfair</a> is held. As with previous such events, workshops were held during the afternoon, with some being linked to events later on in the evening: <a href="http://www.dissidentisland.org/">Dissident Island</a> providing a radiostream of some of the bands, and<a href="http://www.bicycology.org.uk/"> Bicycology</a> running the cinema. And, in contrast with previous events, there was almost no sign of the police all night (remember when they used a sainsbury's truck to block Holloway Road at RTF 4 while they attempted to raid the place?) - see if you can spot them in the pics.</p> <p>Overall, an excellent night, with loads of great music, entertaining caberet, and a great selection of films documenting the history of the anarchist movement in this country amongst many other things.
